This week, we finished watching the movie "Woman in Gold." Even if you missed parts of the movie, you still need to complete the post-viewing activity to practice the perfect tense. The instructions are attached, but you will be making a DVD cover with a summary of the movie in the perfect tense. The worksheet has the sentences to translate as well as the verbs you will need to make the sentences. We have also been working on finding out more about the city of Vienna. You will be planning a week long trip there and have been learning about the numerous sights there. We are continuing our travel unit, but we are now learning how to talk about events in the conversation past (perfect tense). You will be practicing this grammar concept in a variety of ways so that you can use it in conversations.
The first step is just recognizing them. Practice that here: https://quizlet.com/_6g3ej1 To form the perfect tense in German, you have to be able to conjugate the two helping verbs "haben" and "sein." You have seen both of these verbs before, but make sure to practice and re-memorize them so that you are prepared for the quiz over this on Friday, April 12th! When you are finished with your paragraph, create your official postcard of your city here:
